Welcome to MICMAC

Thanks for using our products, MICMAC, an online cooperative management software (hereinafter “MICMAC”) and services. The product and services are provided for cooperative societies (hereinafter “Subscriber) by Sekat Technologies Nigeria Limited. (hereinafter  “Sekat”), located at 52 International Airport Road, Oshodi, and Lagos, Nigeria. For continuity, support, MICMAC related services and monitoring in different locations is carried out by independent contractors called Independent Service Providers (hereinafter “ISP(s)”).

By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Our Services are very diverse, and may warrant additional terms or product requirements. Additional terms will be available with the relevant Services, and those additional terms become part of your agreement with us if you use those Services.

 

Using our Services

You must follow policies made available to you within the MICMAC Services.

Don’t misuse our Services. For example, don’t interfere with our Services or try to access them using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide. You may use our Services only as permitted by law. We may suspend or stop providing our Services to you if you do not comply with our terms or policies or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.

Using our Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access. You may not use content from our Services unless you obtain permission from its owner or are otherwise permitted by law. These terms do not grant you the right to use any branding or logos used in our Services. Don’t remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed in or along with our Services.

Our Services display some content that is not Sekat’s. This content is the sole responsibility of the entity that makes it available. We may review content to determine whether it is illegal or violates our policies, and we may remove or refuse to display content that we reasonably believe violates our policies or the law. But that does not necessarily mean that we review content, so please don’t assume that we do.

In connection with your use of the Services, we may send you service announcements, administrative messages, and other information.

Your MICMAC Account

You will need a MICMACAccount in order to use our Services. You may register for your own MICMAC Account if you intend to become an ISP or a Subscriber (if your Cooperative Society intends to automate its business), or your MICMAC Account may be assigned to you by your Cooperative Administrator, such as your Cooperative Manager or Trustees. If you are using a MICMAC Account assigned to you by a Cooperative Administrator, different or additional terms may apply and your Administrator may be able to access or disable your account.

  1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Sekat welcomes you. Sekat provides the MICMAC Services to you subject to the following Terms of Service (“TOS”), which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. By accessing and using MICMAC, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of the TOS, which may be modified from time to time.

If you are using our services on behalf of a business, that business accepts these Terms.

 

  1. DESCRIPTION OF SEKAT SERVICES

Sekat provides users with access to an online application (MICMAC) that manages cooperative business and its various customers / members and also ISPs, and this application can be accessed through various mediums or device now known or hereafter developed. You also understand and agree that MICMAC may include certain communications from Sekat, such as service announcements, administrative messages and Sekat Newsletters, and you will not be able to opt out of receiving them.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any new feature that augments or enhances the current Sekat Services, shall be subject to the TOS. You are responsible for obtaining access to MICMAC, and that access may involve third-party fees (such as Internet service provider or airtime charges). You are responsible for those fees, including fees associated with the display or delivery of newsletters. In addition, you must provide and are responsible for all equipment necessary to access MICMAC.

You understand that technical processes and transmission on MICMAC, may involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.

  1. MICMAC USER’S OBLIGATIONS

In consideration of your use of MICMAC, you represent that you are of  legal age to form a binding contract and are not a person barred under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You also agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by MICMAC and (b) maintain and promptly update the data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Sekat has the right to suspend and refuse any and all of your current or future use of MICMAC (or any portion thereof). Sekat is concerned about the safety and privacy of all its users.
